TV/Radio Production and Broadcasting Training
At VSSC School of Media we offer a comprehensive course scientifically designed modules to train a student in learning and mastering the various areas of TV and Radio Production in order to become a successful Media professional earning the facets of TV and Radio Production in broadcasting .
Through hands-on projects, study, and practice with intensive practical lab sessions designed by experts in the media. Students will learn screen direction, camera operation, lighting, sound and soundtrack, editing, animation, and other technical and artistic skills relevant to the TV and Radio Production. Emphasized focus is on creating final pieces that demonstrate an understanding of video/audio as an art form, both in traditional and contemporary contexts of Television and Radio.
Students will receive a detailed assignment sheet that explains the criteria, skills or theme to be explored for each project.
Each student will be assessed on individual progress related to projects in- finished video/audio, written work, tests, quizzes, participation, initiative, and on technical and artistic growth. All major projects will be graded using a rubric and students will be aware of specific learning criteria prior to production. Some exercises and assignments could be scored on a rubric, but may also be self-assessed or critiqued orally or in writing by a teacher or instructor.
Students can expect to spend more time atleast 5- 6 hours in the lab to complete required work. The studio is open during the days and can be used with permission from the instructor. Also in the evenings and weekend.
Our Syllabus is scientifically designed by media professionals and experts with years of practical and professional media work/background . We are Affiliated with three International North America based institutes, they will be actively participating in the training course . Our course work is designed for practical TV and Radio Production with much emphasis on serious daily lab work . Course taught by local and international teachers.
